(Post 5) Double page spread magazine analysis
Double page spread magazine analysis I have analysed 2 double page spreads, which are different from each other. I purposely chose different contents pages, so it is more interesting and not repetitive. My first double page spread analysis is on famous pop artist, Justin B ieber . There is a heading at the top of the magazine, which is also a quote from an exclusive interview in which Justin Bieber said “Girls me a headache” Even though this is a quote, it is also used as a heading, as the quote is in a large font and is at the top of the page. The main image is of Justin Bieber, which takes up the whole of the right page. In this image he is directly looking at the camera, so he is directly looking at the reader and making eye contact with the reader. This makes it feel more personal for the reader, as it feels he is directly looking at you and you are looking back at him. There is only 1 smaller image on the left page.
